With the sale of its innovative AI chips, Nvidia has reported a nearly 80% revenue increase, according to a recent report.

The financial results, released by the company last Wednesday (26), show that Nvidia‘s sales grew by 78% compared to the previous year, reaching $39.3 billion, surpassing Bloomberg’s estimate of $38.3 billion.

Additionally, the company reported a net income increase to $22.1 billion, 80% higher than the previous year. The group expects to report around $43 billion in revenue for the current quarter.

Despite the impressive performance compared to the previous year, Nvidia remains realistic about its expectations for this year. According to them, a slightly lower gross margin is expected for the first quarter of 2025.

They expect an increase of 71%, slightly below Wall Street’s forecast of 72.2%. This is because they plan to ramp up production of the Blackwell AI chips, which may slightly impact the company’s profits.
